From my home to yours...

I started this company as a passion project over the summer during the height of the pandemic.

While I was in fear of losing my job, just like every other American, I was craving something that I could control. Something that brought me joy and that I could call my own. I tried a few different hobbies but my mind kept coming back to candles. Candles have always been my favroite piece of home decor, and I was burning them more and more while I was working remote.

I started thinking about the ingredients that were used to create the inexepensive candles I was purchasing. Were they safe to breathe in? So I started doing my research...

I discovered that candle companies and the fragrance industry are not required to disclose any toxic chemicals that are in their products. That concerned me. Considering thousands of people were spending more time at home and most likely burning more candles (with their babies and loved ones in the room).

So I got to work. I've spent countless weeks researching and sourcing the cleanest ingredients that I could find to make a candle that made me feel safe and proud. I've spent months testing and failing and testing again until I was finally happy with the outcome.

When we're breathing in candle wax and fragrance, we shouldn't have to fear that we could also be inhaling dangerous chemicals. I want to feel comfortable with the candles that I'm burning in my home, and I want you to feel the same.

During my reserach & development journey, I fell in love with the candle making process and with these incredible candles... and I hope you do too!
